Plates And Mugs To Commemorate Any Special Occasion - Good News!
Although we have been the largest supplier of personalised plates in the UK for many years, sending our personalized china all over the world; for technical reasons until now we have not been able to glaze a photograph onto a plate or mug. We have been unique in glazing the wording onto our commemorative plates but the machine that produced that will only work in one colour and cannot cope with photographs.
There are two ways to decorate china: the use of a decal, similar to a transfer and made of different colour glazes that melt at a very high temperature and glaze the surface of the china. Your dinner plate and coffee mug will have been decorated in this way. It is possible to have decals printed to your own design but the printing companies that produce these will only entertain orders of 5,000 and upwards - no good for a one-off plate or mug! The other method is sublimation, a combination of special inks, heat and pressure onto china that has a special coating. This method has several disadvantages: the end result is a poorer quality compared to decals, and it is only possible to sublimate onto a flat surface, i.e. the middle part of the plate. Because of this we did not offer sublimated plates - we have a good reputation for the quality of our work and we would have quickly lost this if we had sold sublimated plates!
Now all that has changed because we have invested in our own decal printing machinery and we are able to print just the one copy of a decal. So now we can offer plates and mugs with a photograph glazed onto the china and your choice of wording placed around the rim, or anywhere on a mug or tankard. Our personalised commemorative plates and mugs make great gifts for a new baby, a Christening, wedding, anniversary, graduation, retirement, that special birthday; or as your own keepsakes for any special occasion, or to remember that special pet.

What you say about us..
We have received our plate with the paint-splashed zebra and we are really pleased with it. It is colourful and fun, and the lettering is set out and spaced just right. It will be a lasting reminder for him of his Christening and his grandparents. It is well presented in its box, and we got it just a few days after ordering, well in time for his Christening on Sunday next.
We have had problems with items we have bought recently, so it is really nice to get something which is even better than we hoped. My wife, (who is not easy to please when it comes to spending money!) would recommend you to anyone.
